Script

Detective: Charles Wicket. He’s no longer a victim. He’s a suspect.

(Detective picks up the phone and calls an underling)

Detective: C’mon. C’mon. c’mon. Pick up. Pick up. C’mon… C’mon.

(Phone Ringing)

Detective: Hello

Police officer: yeah boss

Detective: Can you hear me?

Police Officer: Yeah I can hear you

Detective: Ok. I need you to look up a name called Charles Wicket

Police Officer: Ehh… Yeah sure… but what do you need it for?

Detective: I believe that he is now… a suspect

(Phone call ends)

(Hitman walks in a room and closes the door. Then goes to sit down and switches on the lamp. He then opens up the book, picks up a pen and starts to cross out names in the book)

(Phone rings)

(Hitman goes into pocket and answers the phone)

Hitman: Hello

Police Officer: (Panting) I’ve got important news. They’ve found information on Charles Wicket.

Hitman: Well, that’s bad news isn’t it? Well I want you to clean this up cus’ that’s why I have you on the inside don’t I?

Police Officer: Yeah Yeah. Definitely, I’ll do it.

(Phone call ends)

(Hitman crosses the name Charles Wicket out of the book)

Storyboard

Storyboard The storyboard shows the main character entering his room where his desk and his book is. He sits down and opens his book which is full of names in a list format. As he picks up a pen, he gets a flashback to when he visited his father's grave. We flash back to current time and he begins crossing out names on his list. As he crosses out names on his lists, we see scenes of his main rival, a detective, who is analysing the deaths of the main characters victims.

Action-Thriller Mood Board

This mood board consists of a range films from thriller sub genres such as Crime Thrillers, Action Thrillers, Psychological Thrillers and Spy Thrillers. All films have a main character who has a motive for committing actions whether they be for evil or for good. This will be very helpful in the creation of my film opening as I will be able to develop ideas that generate suspense within the film opening. These films will also help me generate a relationship between my two main characters within the film opening also, so that the audience will have a good understanding of what's to come in the sequence.

Year 12 Media induction test – Redraft Analyse the effect the camera angles, editing techniques and sound effects have on the audience Lil Ze and his gang The scene begins with the platonic sound of a knife being sharpened against a rock, which creates some sort of suspense within the films opening seconds as the audience are unaware of what's coming next. We then see the camera cut to a chicken with a close up shot and in this shot, the audience is able to see the fearful facial expression on the chickens face and this is effective becau se it causes the audience to sympathise with the chicken due to the editing . The camera cross cuts between the chicken and the people cooking other chickens. Throughout this scene, samba music is played, so the audience would be able to tell that there is a Brazillian party going on and the chickens are the meal. This highlights the relationshi...
